The work from several Adhar groups was shown on stage at the Belgrave Neighbourhood community centre in Leicester. It was a fabulous day, with dancing, music, speeches and art all celebrating World Mental Health.
Amazing ceramics, photography and the Magical Cloak all came together in November last year to celebrate the work of the Savera Group.
Loved Gaudi, loved the Hospital de Sant Pau, Camp Nou was a little stressful with a toddler….and the mojitos
had such a fab time in Venice and discovered the Peggy Guggenheim collection… loved it
went for the weekend and had such a lovely time… nothing like walking on the prom!
Yesterday i went to see the Sculpture in the Garden at Leicester Uni Botanic garden
Some of the work was really great… this piece was exciting as it was drawing into metal and felt very much like a painting
Happened upon the Black Madonna while out and about around Zurich. The Monastry in Einsiedeln, Switzerland was totally amazing, full of baroque decor, very beautiful.
Went down to London to the Tracey Emin: Love is What You Want exhibition at the Haywood Gallery which was fantastic. Spend far to long there and it made me cry.
The exhibition is still on until the 29th of August at the Haywood Gallery.
Had heard the band, singer, Daughter on 6music, and on the strength of the one song, Landfill, I went to see her as support at the Social, Little Portland Street, in London.
She has an amazing voice and was really breathtaking. Brill!
